Legal Aid and Advocacy

Jan Kalyan Social Welfare Trust is dedicated to promoting access to justice and advocating for the rights of marginalized and vulnerable populations through our Legal Aid and Advocacy programs. 1. Legal Assistance Services:
   • We offer free or low-cost legal assistance to individuals who cannot afford legal representation, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. 2. Advocacy Campaigns:
   • We advocate for systemic change and policy reform to address social injustices and promote human rights. Through advocacy campaigns, we raise awareness about issues affecting marginalized communities, mobilize public support, and engage with policymakers to advocate for legislative and policy changes that advance social justice and equality.
3. Community Legal Education:
   • We conduct community legal education programs to empower individuals with knowledge of their legal rights and responsibilities. These programs provide information and resources on topics such as legal literacy, women’s rights, child rights, domestic violence prevention, land rights, and access to justice, enabling individuals to make informed decisions and assert their rights effectively.
